My name is Shanna Marie.

I started doing photography as a hobby when I was about 10 years old, fell in love with film photography in High School and took many classes in photography during my college years. It exploded into my full time business in 2010. I started my business out of my home, then rented a studio for four years but in the summer of 2019, I purchased a beautiful store front property in Trinity Commons Shopping Center on Route 31 in Lake in the Hills, IL. 

My priority in life is to live and grow as a Christian. Although I'm far from perfect, I strive to walk in the steps of Jesus. He is the light to everything I do. The name Image 1:27 Photography came from the Bible verse Genesis 1:27 "So God created human beings in His own image. In the image of God He created them; male and female He created them."

My goal as a photographer is to capture God's image (you!!), in a way that shows the beauty that each of us as humans possess and to give you images that you can enjoy for a lifetime!
